Shaker bookcase Style #'s are the actual dimensions of the piece. For example: A SK 36X72 is 36" wide and 72" high. All bookcases are standard at 12" deep. To allow for the extra dimensions of the Shaker top, please add 1 ½" to the overall width and ¾" to the overall depth. (SK 36X72 will fit in a space 37 ½" wide and 12 ¾" deep). To allow for the extra dimensions of the Shaker Crown top, please add 5" to the overall width and 2 ½" to the overall depth. (SKCN 36X72 will fit in a space 41" wide and 14 ½" deep).

Shaker bookcases feature an open toe kick, but not the side cut-ups that are prevalent in the rest of the collection.

Bookcases 48+" wide come standard with one center divide. Bookcases can be be customized up to 94" high and the depth can be increased to 22". Bookcases over 36" high can have solid or raised panel base doors added. When doors are added, one adjustable shelf becomes fixed at 28 3/4" from the floor. An extra shelf can be ordered if it is needed.
